Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is the art of manipulation of muscles and bones and is useful following a n injury or operation to aid recovery. We have the services of a qualifed Veterinary Surgeon and Physiotherapist, Helen Cann, MSc Vet Phys, BSc (Hons), MCSP SRP Cat A member of ACPAT, who is able to treat both small animals and horses. Helen will assess your pet and devise a suitable physiotherapy programme.
Physiotherapy Assessment to an Effective Treatment
The initial assessment will involve a full examination of your pet prior to treatment, and a physiotherapy plan is discussed and agreed.
 Treatment may include techniques such as:
- Joint manipulation
- Soft tissue mobilisation techniques such as laser, ultrasound, muscle stimulation or electro-magnetic therapies
- Progressive exercise rehabilitation
